Car Specs Instructions
To make the plugin usable you’re supposed to find an appropriate car specs service within your area and sing up for it to get access to its data.
Then you have to check if a service selected is supported by the plugin. If not, further adjustments will have to be made both on your part and Flynax.
The initial release supports motorspecs.co.uk.
If there is no service in the list, please contact support in order to get necessary data prepared.
Then you have to add your service to admin panel, enter login and test details; you’re supposed to receive them after signing up for your specs provider.
Then you have to click the Test service button, you will find it on the service details page, it will populate the mapping area with fields from the service.
You’ll have to map the fields to corresponding local fields.
A text field will be added to the Add a Listing page in the user interface, from where users will be able to type Car Plate or VIN number to get vehicle details pre-filled in the listing submit form.

Hi Rudi, would Vin Audit work with the Car Specs plugin? I've been looking into them for Market Values and History Reports but the Specs would be perfect for my site.

Hi, could this plugin be adapted to utilize the data directly from the NHTSA's API?
