    But you can change files if you didn't any customizations otherwise you can lose your changes or break your site.
    Create and download backup of your files and database before start an upgrade.

    Thanks Viktor.

    Yes, backup is vital. I also have a log of all changes (at least most of them). But I also try to keep standard as much as possible.
