search box for individual category

Hi Flynax,

Is there anyway if I can create search box for individual category like filter box? I just want the ability to input search by distance, input zipcode. The filter box work great but they don't have that option.

You probably already know this but there is a Flynax plugin similar to what you mentioned in your post:

- Plugin Name: Search by Distance
- URL: https://www.flynax.com/plugins/search-by-distance.html

It appears that it allows you to search radius of:

- City
- Zip Codes

This is the next plugin I will purchase.

Yes Joe I know, but I want to set search box for "individual category". Meaning category A has search box A with field related to A, and B with field related to B. Like filter plugin, just work like search box

Is it possible to add to the filter box the search by distance field?
Like input a zipcode and set a distance parameter, then hit apply?

I just bought it, so I am still learning about it.

I see it does two things, but it might do more:

1. Adds a "search-by-distance.html" page which seems to be made up of the fields you added to the quick search form
2. Replaces all the "Zip Code" fields with a "Search by Distance" field

Also, I think you CAN search by zip code within "Listing Types" and "Categories" and by distance (see "Listing Type" and "Categories" fields in the attached image).

I do NOT think it is added to the "Filter Plugin".

I do see a bug that needs to be discussed with Flynax.

I also bought it thats why I have the zipcode filed in searchbox. But I have different categories in my for sale listing type. I don't want to have a long list of field search in the search box for all of the categories. For example house for sale will have year built, bedroom, bathroom, car will have ODO, title status, body type, phone will have brand, os system.
