Post Great Events Calendar update !!!

Flynax went beyond what I expected in the new Events Calendar update:

    - "The ability to set prices for tickets added Minor issues fixed"

I will test it on demo and see. Thanks for informing us.

Edited: Do we now have the start and end date for the event?

    Yes

I also like that users can add custom names for ticket prices.

Can also add as many types of ticket prices as you want.

Excellent! What about one day event. Can we set starting time and ending time? Like Sunday 15/6 From 9AM to 5PM

    One-day Event:

    - Answer: No
    - Why:

    - You select Monday, 1 January 2021 in the "From" box
    - You are only allowed to select Tuesday, 2 January 2021 in the "To" box
    - Basically, you cannot create 'same day' events
    - For example, you cannot select the following Monday, 1 January 2021 to Monday, 1 January 2021
    - This must be an oversight or a BUG

    Start/Finish Time:

    - Answer 1: No
    - Why:

    - There are no time options in the date select option
    - Likely, others will say they can just add it to the description
    - However, it should be a drop-down with 12/24 options

    - Answer 2: Maybe
    - Why:
    - You can create a dropdown Listing field with times that is linked to "Link to Data Entries"
    - Problem here is do you create a dropdown with the time every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour?
    - Pretty easy if you want to make events every hour or maybe every 1/2 hour:
    - Example:

    - 12.00 hrs
    - 12.30 hrs
    - 13.00 hrs.
    - 13.30 hrs.

    - See Here: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/24-hour_clock

That is sad. Most of my event plannings are 1 day events from morning 9AM to 5PM. ( Like concerts, and flea market day.

Here is how the time dropdowns look using Data Entry Fields:

    - Create Data Entry: Admin Panel > Common > Data Entries

    - Make "Start Time" (Add your time increments)
    - Make "Finish Time" (Add your time increments)

    - Create Listing Field: Admin Panel > Listing > Listing Fields > Add a Field > Create a dropdown Field Types:

    - Make "Start Time" (Connect to Data Entry)
    - Make "Finsh Time" (Connect to Dats Entry)

    - Add to Category Form: Admin Panel > Categories > Categories > Select Your Catgory > Build Icon > Build Listing Form

    See Attached Image

Thanks Joe, that is definitely an alternative way to do it. By the way, I just tested on demo and they have single day event where you can choose 1 day only. They have 2 options: single and period.

"They have 2 options: single and period."

Okay, yes there are single-day events.

Just needed to add the field "Type" to the form.

So, basically, the Events plugin works better than great.

I set time dropdowns for every 30 minutes of the day.

The only issue I can see is, What if an event starts at 9:10.

A user only has two options, either choose 09.00 hrs. or 09.30 hrs, likely they will choose 09.00 hrs.

An improvement would be a field that allows users to select the event's start hour and exact start minute.
