In the newest comparison plugin version, can I change the icon of add listing to comparison table, and remove listing from comparison table?

I want to change the icon on the left of the text:
Add to compare list: to www.domain.com/compare.svg
Remove from compare list: to www.domain.com/uncompare.svg

In the old version I was able to change it via css. But the new version use different code.

go to plugins > compare > grid_icon.tpl

replace:

Only registered members can view the code.

with:

Only registered members can view the code.
