Hello.

How do I select a region without selecting a Country?
Currently, the system only allows you to select a region if I select Country first. Yet I only use one Country.

I'm using also one country, and it would be great to set the country as default and let the user to select the State\Region directly in all location fields.
Any help where we can change the code for that?

Hello,

You can do the following:

remove your current multi-field entry

then create a new one and go to Manage > Import Data > World Locations Database5 > Select items to be imported > select your country > import (without "Include the parent item")

now it will start from regions


then you need to create a new location field using your multi-field entry

If I understand you correctly,

you need a feature that would set the city from user's profile automaticaly in geo filter once he logs in

it's not supported by the plugin

but can be done as a customization

But you can use autodection user location when you visits the site:

Common > Basic Settings > Geo Filter > Auto detection of user location > enable

and the system will automatically select your detected location from geo filter

for that IP Geo Location plugin should be used additionally (with installed IP database)
