Displaying sorting, list/grid view and map view to non-category pages

Hi,

So, on top of Category pages (like Girls) there is a bar which allows sorting the listing, changing it's view grid/list and switching to map view.

If I want to display the same listing on a custom page and keep this sorting bar on top - what do I do?

I tried to create a custom page and then posting a listing box there, but it does not show sorting/view bar on top...

And one more question - are there subcategory pages and can they be displayed in main menu (top, bottom)?

Oh, and how do I enable list view? I only see grid view icon, clicking which does not show any effect.
