Banners Plugin and HTML Banner Counts

Can Flynax tell me why the count on html banners does not work when they are clicked ? is this an error or does it simply not work for html ?

Actually, the plugin supports click only on pictures as the click action is overlapped by adsense script

Not sure what that means in engwish, but clicks count in adwords and bing etc so why can we not get them to count in flynax ? and what does the adsense have to do with it ?


Is there a way we can edit the code to count these html links in banners ? the number of clicks is used as an indicator as to the ads performance and without it we are flying blind as to what is or is not working ?
