How can make the navigation push the contents below it instead of over-lapping the content below?

Edit: I re-designed the menu from scratch and it's better. I would be grateful for a solution, as I have tried changing the position from absolute to relative on the mobile menu in several places, (un-did the changes) still didn't work.
