My Alerts

Hello,

This may sound dumb, but what are the alerts in the account menu? How do you add them and where can they be administered in ap?

I found the area in ap, (user accounts) but I don't know how to add (or how they are added)

alerts if correct are when a user does a search, and chooses to save that search and be alerted to any new posts that match that search criteria. the stuff in the admin are the alerts people have saved.

Yes, that is correct, I remember that, but where on the search page can this feature be?

Edit: Found it, it's when a search comes up empty, no results it will ask it you want to be alerted for that item.
