You can create a new ticket with your request or you can do you it yourself.
go to ftp:>>templates>>your_template>>tpl>>header_home.t pl

and find div with id='teaser'

I used NivoSlider, it worked great but unfortunately it will not show up in IOS.

Instead flash (swf) i would recommend jQuery e.g. iosSlider. The best way for that is to create a slider.tpl and add this in header_home.tpl -> div id='teaser'.
