Question about changing plan

If a user currently has a featured listing that has 3 days featured, and 7 days non-feature left. He will be on vacation for the following 2 weeks starting tomorrow and he decided to extend the duration using a regular 30 days plan now. How can he do that without losing the remaining 3 days featured?

Because if he goes ahead and update plan to the 30 days plan. He will lose the remaining 3 days featured, the listing will be changed to none-feature. Should featured duration and regular duration count separately

Would you and Flynax team consider a solution for this situation. I think separating featured duration and regular duration would work. As of now, user can buy plan again to extend their regular duration, and it would be bad that they can't extend their regular duration because they have featured duration.
