Change to TLS 1.2 and HTTP / 1.1

    Hello

I have received an email from Paypal. The email indicates that I should change to TLS 1.2 and HTTP / 1.1

Can you explain what this means? Should my site be updated?

    Regards

    Hello,

For using paypal you should have an ssl connection:
    - buy an ssl certificate and configure it on your server
    - install SSL Protection plugin

    Hello Jose,

Don't use SSL Protection plugin in new versions. After configure SSL certificate only change 'http' to 'https' in config.inc.php file.
The SSL Protection plugin will get some conflicts with new code. I don't recommend you use the plugin.

    Best wishes.

    Hi Victor,

What do we have to do if we have version 4.4.1.

    Thank you very much.

The same. No need to use SSL plugin. Use my instruction above.

Of course. You need to change 1 line in the config.inc.php file.

Hello Guys, Thank you for the attentions,

About SSL made available Free by CloudFlare.

    CloudFlare and Flynax:
CloudFlare SSL does not work via configuration and htaccess, I only succeed with the installation of the Flynax Plugin. (tested and approved).

    CloudFlare and WordPress:
The SSL feature works with the installation of the Really Simple SSL Plugin (tested and approved).

In frying of eggs, is this Flynax SSL plugin deprecated or not? that is the question.

I always use the service provided by CloudFlare to get my sites faster and mostly safer, it's amazing, Great.

    Thanks
