Right now the featured items are always on top

how can i change that that the featured listings are not always on top.

by default all featured listings are on top, so by sorting by date you will get first all featured listings in date order, then you will get following that all regular listings in date order / when sorting by date.
this is hurting the bump-up function. i need to change that
the featured can have a own box.
the bump up works as well, in that any featured will be bumped to the top of featured, and any regular will be bumped to the top of regular, the idea is you get people to pay higher to list at the very top with a featured listing.
If it did not work that way then and I could get a regular listing to the top over a featured listing then why would I pay more for that listing ? it is working properly as it is.

When you open file: ftp://includes>>classes>>rlListings.class.php for example method: getListings
you will see in sql query: $sql .= "ORDER BY `Featured` DESC ";
You can add some conditions for it or remove order by featured. Also if you don't know php or mysql I suggest you create new ticket with the request and our tech department will help you soon
