    Number of category columns

Is there a way to change the number of columns of categories in the category box on the home page? As of now, the categories span 3 columns and I'd like to change it to 4 columns.

    Thanks
    Ron

    Hello,

    Open file: ftp://templates>>your_template>>css>>style.css
    find line: .sub-categories-exist div.categoty-column
and you can see following lines below:

    Code:
Only registered members can view the code.
change it and check on site.

    Thanks Viktor!

I noticed this is only if the sub-categories are enabled. Is there a way that I can change the column count if the sub-categories display is not enabled? If I just show the parent categories?

    Thank you

    Hi Viktor.
Is there a way that I can change the column count for just the parent categories, without showing sub-categories?

    Thank you
    Ron

    Hello,

If you want to hide only sub-categories in the categories box on home page you can do it into Admin Panel >> Listing Types find 1-st listing type and click edit icon. Then find box: Additional Category Box and line: 'Display subcategories' set value as 'NO'. Save and check on home page.

    Hi Viktor.
Yes. I know how to hide sub-categories. The issue is that I'd like to show 4 columns of categories, and when I hide the sub-categories, it goes back to showing 3 columns of categories.

So, how can I show just the parent categories (ie no sub-categories) across 4 columns (not 3 columns)?

    Thanks
    Ron
