Where to find code for category selection / colour

I would like to change the colours in category selection to one that matches the theme, but i am unable to find where O where these colour codes are hiding so I can edit them.

You cannot change it in css. You can change structure and create it in ul li or in divs or use custom jquery plugin like here: https://select2.github.io/examples.html or here: https://harvesthq.github.io/chosen/ or may be here: http://nicolasbize.com/magicsuggest/

but need to change code and we can do it like a customization for you.
