Hi I have purchased a complete up to date UK database, can you tell me how I upload this and to where?

You can try to deactivate all country instead of UK.
Go to Admin Panel >> Data Formats find Country and click build icon and then deactivate all countries.

No that wasn't what I meant - I know how to delete and deactivate, but I have my own database which has up to date information on it - the database for the UK you have is not correct. I wanted to install my database and didn't know how.
