Category Icons and pictures checkbox

Hi,
I'm using the category icons plugin, but would like to change it so that only the icons appear on the homepage.
Could someone please tell me how I can remove the text that appears by default below the icons?
I'm also looking for a way to remove the "With pictures only" checkbox that appears in the search fields with the flatty themes.

Please create a ticket for the changes with category_icons plugin.

You can remove it yourself through ftp.
