Thread: Value plugin

    Value plugin

Hi, got an idea for a value plugin.

To help users value their item for when they are listing on the website.

    Example: I have auto website.

Basically fill in the form by selecting Listing type, make, model, year and the plugin will pull the data from current listings in the database to give a top price, low price and average price, to help users price their vehicle.

Make the plugin as a content block, with option to choose which fields can be used.

    Any thoughts

Chris, that already exists in a way, if you have listing fields such as year make model etc of which i am sure you have, then you have the price slider you will get exactly what your looking for. For example people would go to the category dial in the required options as above and there would be the pric slider showing the top and bottom values top bottom and average in the middle.?

I only have one auto in < here > but if i had many it would edit and adjust as above to give the averages / I even think instead of the slider you can get an average output so you could just add 3 option like top middle and bottom and it should be possible to add that seperate to the slider or other option if you wanted and call it average value ?

True but I am wanting a simpler way of finding it rather than having to do a search.
