Date format

Currently the date format on my website has no divider between the Day/Month/Year so it's like 20 08 2014
I would like to add hyphen like this 20-08-2014 but not sure where to find this block, can anyone help

You can change it via admin panel and configure it as you want.
Go to the Admin panel -> Common -> Languages -> click edit to your language -> Date format
