Meta title and description for Home page?

Hi Guys.
How can I add a unique meta Title and Description for the Home page without altering the existing code that Flynax has in the header.tpl file?

In admin/content/pages find 'home' and press edit. You can add meta there

Yes, but it's only for the Description and Keywords. Any idea how we can change the Meta Title for the Home page?

Well, according to Flynax there is no way to customize the page title for the home page. But they went on to say that the page title isn't important anymore with regards to SEO, which I found surprising. As far as I know, page titles still carry a lot of weight with SEO, especially with the home page (ie. root domain).

Anyone care to chime in?

In the edit bit of your home page you have these

Key
Name
Title

Fill in the title field as that is what i think works as meta title. This is what comes up on google search results for my site.
