How can I remove ".../browse/..." from URLs?

I'd like to remove the phrase "browse" from SEO URLs completely.
    How can I do that?

    Code:
Only registered members can view the code.

    Hello,

We apologize for the late reply,
You cannot remove 'browse' from the urls without changes in database,
it require changes in the files - additional conditions, remove it from the links etc.
So we can do it as custom modification.

I’m wondering if there is any way to change the “/browse/” text into something more user friendly.
Can someone provide steps how to change this text to something else?

    Thanks.

In current 4 version there is no browse text more by default and it now can be listings, autos, pets or other depending on listing type of category or listing.

For example in flynax general it's listings

    http://general.demoflynax.com/listings/books/

And it can be easily changed through Admin Panel >> Pages >> Edit page >> Edit path of page

If you don't know what page is main (browse page) of the listing type you can find it on AP >> Listing Types >> Edit type page

    For general software it's here.
    http://general.demoflynax.com/admin/...t&key=listings

Find there Individual Page option and click link to edit the page.

Hello Myke. I have a related issue. How can we lose /listings/ from all links?
    on short, we have http://general.demoflynax.com/listin...d-18-mp-5.html
that is poor as SEO becose any search engine will show the beginning of that link instead of the last part. it shoulded be like
    http://general.demoflynax.com/canon-...50d-18-mp-5-no. of ad (or category).html
