New listing type using same categories than an existing one?

Hello,

This is probably custom work, but who knows .

I have my listing type "Autos" with a lot of categories/subcategories associated.

I would like to create a new listing type using exactly the same categories than "autos", but with a new page, different submit form, and so on.
So I need to duplicate all the existing categories and change the listing type they are associated.

Any good idea on how to do this?

I think there's a plugin do download categories, so if you download them and then re upload them to the new listing type
