cannot upload ipgeo table to new host

Im currently trying to move my site to a new host ....

The datqabase has a table ipgeo which has approx 680,000 entries and I keep timing out when I try to upload it .... I cant even sql it in - it's a lot of entries. My database is only 32.46 mb of which 31.22mb is this table ????

Anyone got any ideas on this or had this trouble before

    Hi Geoffrey,

    Anyone got any ideas...?
    Of course.
Use MySQLDumper instead of phpmyadmin. It is free! - no cost

A PHP script has a maximum execution time that is usually set to 30 seconds on most server installations. A script running longer than this limit will simply stop working. This behavior makes backing up large databases impossible. Maybe you already had this specific problem when using other tools.

MySQLDumper uses a proprietary technique to avoid this problem.

In my opinion, the best tool to backup and restore large databases.

    Best regards
    Steffen

Great thx Steffen - that is a great program!!!

I've now got a few more probs after moving - the "Featured Motorcycles" main graphic isnt showing on the main page. The thumbs below as well as the thumbs and pics in the listings all show ok.

As well, inside the listing - Map. Tell a Friend, Comments, Loan/Mortgage and Street View now all open blank.
