Try going to admin/categories/ edit category or master category which ever you use, and then fill in the 'Listing META Description' and 'Listing META Keywords' fields for listings.

and also the meta description etc for the actual category

This will add meta descriptions and keywords for all listings in that category which should change the google search results.

If you have already done that i suppose it may take a while before the pages are crawled and updated by google

    Dear Flynax developers,

I have set listing meta description as {description}, and it worked flawlessly when shared on facebook. But when search on google, its description shows everything on the listing, including working hours, phone number, price, etc. How to set it to show description only under description part when searching on google. Also, what is the javascript notice that John mentioned above? Does it have any effect on this particular problem?

I checked and yes, you re right. Even if set the field for metadescription that field not be considered when indexed in google
