Changing button and form dropdown colors

Hi

I have been trying to modify escort_purple_neon to tone down the purple.

I have most of it except I want to make the nav bar and search dropdowns grey instead of purple.

I'm going crazy ... I just can't find where this is to be changed ... I've searched and changed most of style.css and common.css

any ideas?

Yes you are right all styles in style.css and common.css
For better find styles you may use firebug plugin for FireFox. Please try to use firebug.
