Reference Number plugin

Hi.
I understand that the Reference Number plugin provides a field that auto-generates an ID number for a listing.

Can someone explain how the Reference Number benefits the classifieds site?

And how the Reference Number is best used for the site?

You can add a ref search box as well.

Example my friend searches the site and finds a advert that suits me, he can just tell me the reference number so when I go to find it I get the correct advert. I suppose the URL would do the same, but if he text messages me for example it would be easier to write ref number than URL. Am sure there will be other uses as well

So, do you add the Reference Number field in all your Submit and Short forms, for all your general categories?

Hmm can't remember, it may do it automatically, but I would check may need adding manually

I think ref number is the best thing on flynax... Here is what i do with it... you can imagine the rest.
