Homepage image slider

Hi - I would like to add an image slider on my homepage (I am using the modern boat template). Apparently this is custom work, but I imagine this is pretty common function and there's some code out there I could re-use and maybe handle the change myself. Please note I am a non-technical person so would need to be pretty easy to do. If not, guess I'll be paying for some custom work

You can use listings carousel plugin for it. It will be easy for implementation and no need any changes in program code.

Just to clarify, I'm not looking for the carousel on the listings -- I already have that installed. I'm looking to have the photo on the top of the homepage change automatically. If that can be done with the carousel plugin, then please let me know how.

So the picture I would like to have automatically change would be the big one of the sail boat on the top left.
