php error log

Hey guys, I have notice a php error log within one of my templates and it seems like it has been there for a month now, it says "PHP Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /my_domain/templates/general_sky/autocomplete.inc.php on line 34" Does anyone know what it means and what i should do about it?

You can fix it or you may send ftp access details to my PM and I will fix it ASAP.
Instruction:

go to ftp://templates>>general_sky>>autocomplete.inc.php
find code at line ~34-35

Only registered members can view the code.

and replace to:

Only registered members can view the code.

save and check again.
