    Question SEO Question

    Hello,

    One quick question for SEO, how can I add Website name in the title?

    For Example: the title now shows Audi A4. It should show Websitename.com - Audi A4

    Is this possible? :confused:

    Thanks,

    If you go to admin / categories / and choose to edit one, you have option to edit 'title', just type what you want to show

    there is also ability to set listing Meta description, keywords and title,

    Here you can add certain field values and also you can type other info in like your website name

    Hello Chris,

    Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortenatly that did not work. It's still showing listing title only.

    I added WebsiteName and selected Title from the dropdown list but nothing changed.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks,

    The dropdown ones are for the listings within the category, so 'title' will refer to the info of the title field. if you want the website name aswell you will need to type it.

    example: mywebsitename.com {title}{mileage}{built}

    If you want to change the title for the actual category page like Audi A4, you will need to use the 'title' near the top of the form below the category url (there are no dropdown option for this you will have to type it)

    Hi Chris,

    That's exactly what I did but it's not working for the Listing META Title. I worked fine for Listing META Keyword.

    websitename.jpg

    Here's the HTML source code after doing the Listing META Title change

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
    <head>

    <title>Audi A4</title>
    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9" />
    <meta name="generator" content="Flynax Classifieds" />
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
