flynax this problem still exists / per above I have no selected main category and meta title in my categories are made up of just the title itself {title} this is adding the information to the title...

I was unable to find anything in the header tpl ? that I know of to turn these off, they are the alt wording for the social media box underneath ? I have no idea why they would be classed as a page...

just go into admin and and set your template to general wide, and if it's not there load it up.

General Wide would be classed as the gumtree template for better words.
