How to show the main category/subcategory in the listing.

Hello, I have a problem were one listing type can show the main category and subcategory in the listing forms, while the other listing type is not showing the main category, but showing only the subcategory, however, the category settings for both listing types are the same and the category field is already there in all listing forms. anyone who has an idea how to show the main category and the subcategory in listings?

i.e.
one listing type is showing

Category: main category/subcategory

The other listing type is showing

Category: subcategory

Any idea?

How about listing type for both categories?
Have you assigned correct listing type for each category?

Admin Panel > Basic Settings > Listings > Subcategory ads in parent category > enable | disable

is this set ?

Hi Bahram and Pete,
I did assign the correct listing type for each category, this is why I can see only the sub of the main category, but I don't see the main category.
Pete, the option is already enabled, this is why I can see the main/sub in one listing type but I don't see it in the other listing type, as I've mentioned before.
Any more ideas?

Hello,

What listing form do you mean? Could you show on a screenshot?

Make sure that your sub-category has a parent category

also try to refresh your system cache: Common > Refresh

Hi Rudi,
The Listing forms, are the forms we have to build it under each main category, "Listing Form, Brows Form, Featured Form, Sorting Form,...etc"
I've checked that every subcategory is linked to the main category.
The system cash is not there in the refresh, as I've mentioned in the submitted ticket that the "cash control" is always "disable" no matter what, even when I try to enable it, it goes back to disable by itself.

Because you should have rebuilt category levels in Common > Refresh > Rearrange category levels

now categories are displayed correctly
