Category Filter plugin and advanced search

Hello,

I have installed the "category filter plugin" - it is a good one and actually the search results should look like this.

The problem is, and I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this:

* On the Homepage I have the "Quick Search Form". A user start a search from here and then get a list of results. From this page, it is possible to filter more with the "Refine Search Block".

* If a user goes directly on the page from the category, then it is possible to filter with the "Category Filter Plugin"

This is something anoying, the 2 lists page are different. The "Category Filter" is much more better than the "Refine Search". But most of the users will start a search from the homepage and won't see the "category filter"

Conclusion:

It should be possible to use the "Category Filter" everywhere on the site with every result list.

No, category filters works only on category pages or listing type.
Plugin will not work on other pages.

I know this.
My point is to say that it should be taken seriously to change this, because it is not good to have different functionalities for what is the same.

When a user make a search with a search form, it should be possible to filter the results in a similar way as offered by the "Category Filter Plugin".*
It makes really sense and most of the website offer this feature.
