Is there a way to make sub categories display on main page, along with parent categories?
Also, is there a way to turn off category count on the 'extra' categories. (For example: on the pet template, Dog Services & Dog Supplies?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I use auto classifieds but it should be the same or similar
for sub categorys to display on main page try and go to admin - listing types - choose which type to edit then scroll down till you see additional category box, there should be a tick box saying display sub categories.
there is also a category count option near the top of this page but not sure if that is exactly what you want
