Canadian and US Cities DB import

I am looking for a listing of US and Canadian cities, I have my QuickSearch populated with the countries but now need States / Cities Provinces/Cities of US and Canda so if anybody has one kicking around could they msg me with help please?

I have done USA and Canada down to sub lelvel > country > state > region / county Bot have done the towns in the counties, I do not know how to export the geo stuff but if there is a way your welcome to it.

or if you want you can use this to narrow down the usa locations / sub locations by drilling down

You can try Remote Import featured in the MultiField plugin to populate your site with US, CA cities.

main steps are
- install multifield plugin
- create data entry in plugin, click manage newly created entry
- click Remote Import button, select database and select countries (Canada, USA)

Thanks to both of you for your help I will try your suggestions.

i don't know how good are the databases for usa or canada but for romania they are simply junk. wrong counties, 2-8 cities in each county (and most wrong). i tried both databases.

romania has over 40.000 locations (cities)...take a look at http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categor...n_Rom%C3%A2nia for instance
