Question about birthday field and vbbulletin bridge plugin

Hi
Can any1 please help me creating a birthday field for user to fill in? Which field should i use?
Also, if I use vbulletin bridge plugin. Will accounts created in flynax site with birthday field filled be carried over to vbulletin accounts through cross registeration of the plugin?

The date field has this format: yyyy-mm-dd
Can I change it to: dd/mm/yyyy?

It's not the one in admin panel language. This is the one in listing field and account field.
