custom listing and detailed listing template for category?

Hello Community,

hope everyone is well.
is there a way to create custom listing and detailed listing template for a specific category?

i want to create two categories, one called "links" for banner exchange and "blacklist" with a list of untrusted websites.
one category i want to show banners added by admin they should be listed on the "listings page" just a banner and <ahref link to an external web with no detail listing sub page
and another category with a same logic, all the blacklisted websites should be shown on the listing page.

so the question is do i modify the main listing template or there is a special template generated for reach new category ?
any advices are welcome
