Can't verify with Google Webmaster Tools

Hi all,

From Google Webmaster Tools I used the "HTML file upload" option.

When i click on link http://www.mydomain.com/googleb638637e14fd1292.html to verify my site, then it goes to Undefined Page. I think we should the .htaccess file.

How to modify this file?

Google can verify your site through meta tag. Would you please send to my PM meta and ftp access details and I will include this meta tag to header of your site. or you can do it yourself.

Please go to ftp://templates>>your_template>>tpl>>header.tpl and add meta tag around other meta tags.

Hello Nguyen,

Because it's Google need it. You should verify your site if you want to use Google Analytics. And verify through meta tag better way. If you don't what to use Google Analytics you shouldn't verify your site.
This code needs for 1 min only. I will insert meta cod you click verify button on google and then I remove this meta.

Why not you can verify it through html file too. But through html file it's a bit difficult.
You can upload html file and add new rule in .htaccess file: RewriteRule ^googleb638637e14fd1292.html$ googleb638637e14fd1292.html [L,QSA] and you should add this rule above other default rules in file.
