New templates Nova Classified and Auto issue

So I been scratching my head all over today. And then another complain. The nova template layout is messy on safari 6 and probably any version higher or lower. I have attached screenshot. Its layout went out of place here and there. Header main menu is completely vanished. Tested on flynax demo

I then of course went ahead and take a look at the old general wide template and they looks very fine. Is this an easy fix for nova? If not is there anyway if we could bring the nova show more listing on homepage feature to general wide template?

Please give me your thoughts.

i confirm that Auto Nova is a mess in Safari , as you can see in the photo bellow

Yes, the problem exists but in old versions

We'll try to find a best solution for this

SOLUTION FOR OLDER VERSIONS of SAFARY:

download attached archive fixed.zip and unzip it
upload fixed bootsrap.css file from the archive to your server > templates > _nova > css > replace

do the same for style.css

if you have some modifications in your style.css
then you should open fixed style.css file > find all properties starting with '-webkit-' and compare with ones in your current style.css
copy those lines which doesn't exist in your file

That was a very quick solution. Us customers are happy. I will test it out tonight and report back the result.

I saw on Flynax tweeter that 4.7.2 is due soon that fixed many bug? Do you know the release date? I made alot of css change and thinking of waiting

Hello Wei,

The 4.7.2 is expected to be released in about a month

regarding the issue with safari browser you should update your browser up to the last version

because the new templates are unlikely to support older browser versions

It's has not been fixed in 4.7.1, I made a ticket awhile back and also not fixed. I'm hoping it will be fixed in 4.7.2

Could you create a new ticket and describe details of the issue again as there are many posts in that thread ?

and our developer will investigate it

The other posts was discussions and confirmation. No solutions.

I made test in 4.6.2,
then edited updated test in 4.7
in 4.7.1 still the same issue.

I made ticket earlier too
