[Ask]add recent list to the homepage

I tried to add the latest listing to the main page like what this cool guy did with his website http://www.fyndklippet.se/

I added a box and display it in the middle of the home page with this smart template code

{include file='blocks'|cat:$smarty.const.RL_DS|cat:'recentl y.tpl' listings=$listings type='listings'}

but it is not displaying anything.

Please try to use Listing Box plugin and create a box through the plugin. It's exactly for this.

Let me know if you have problems with it.

Well I use a modification as the Listing box was only showing boxes, talk to Victor.

What categories do you want to see in block?

Exist some logic or not for show this categories? May be all categories with 1 type or all subcategories from 1 parent category or may be other logic?
