Event plugin question

Hi guys,

Is there anyway that I can have "add new event" to the "post an ad" button, to show it along with the selection below:

I don't understand why do we separate it from the rest of the options. It really confused user and even an admin as myself, I was struggling adding new event.
I saw other customer create a second button next to add new ad button, just to add a new event, why not just have it work the same as other.

Please please please reconsider it.

Thank you for your response. I don't have a live website yet. We can all see how this work on demo.
Can anyone with live site comment on this. It's inconsistent with other ads type to have separated posting system just for the event type alone.
