Change admin directory username & password

I want to change - domain.com/admin - directory, username & password...

i try to rename admin folder but not works...

also go to includes > config.inc.php > find a setting ADMIN and replace its value admin with your new name

then go to admin > .htaccess > in RewriteBase /admin/ replace 'admin' with your name

i change everything but now on any keyword it redirects to admin panel

maybe .htaccess not correct configured ?
