How sitemap plugin works?

Hello,

Anyone can tell me how the sitemap plugin works?
I clicked "rebuild sitemap.xml file" in Refresh but there is no the sitemap file in my website document root ( / ).
How can I regenerate it once per day automatically?

Please help me out. Thanks!

Hello,

you can find it in files > sitemap

but it's generated on the fly when you use /sitemap.xml in url

sitemap.xml file is updated every cron launch (cron > index.php)
