Search from "A" site and find results of the "B" site

Hello Guys.
I want to know if anybody do that I want to do.
I want to have one flynax general site with many categories and one autos site.
Now that i want to know if i can have my visitor in general who search for car results to get back the results of the auto site.

If it is not possible any advise will be very helpful

Hello Marina,

On search results page you should have a block with name: Refine search usually it has locate in left side. You can use it like search box.

OK and how this will take data from the other site?

May be use 1 site for both classifieds?
Create 2 listing types: General and Auto and build each of this type. Then implement templates for each listing type and visual separate site for users.
Because take data from another database not good idea.

I have a problem because i have done that for cars and bikes and I made some modifications on it.
After that the coupon code is not working when i try to add a listing and use it. Only works if you try to upgrade one package. That means i think that the coupon code is OK.

I opened a ticket and said to me to update and check again but is still not working maybe they try to fix it today. but if you have an idea about how i can fix it please advise
