pwa image crop sql error

hi,

Getting this error when uploading a splashscreen image in pwa admin. i set the resolution as specified.

MYSQL ERROR
Error: MySQL server has gone away
Query: INSERT INTO `fl_pwa_images` ( `Image`, `Size`, `Type` ) VALUES ( 'splashscreen.png', 'original', 'launch_portrait' )

Any ideas?
