How to extend the length of input box

The input box is a little short, that the calendar icon has covered the last 2 digit of the field. So how do I extend the length of this particular input box or move the calendar icon to the right side next to the input box? It's a "Date" type in account field type. I make it a birthday account field..

You have to make changes to the style of the box, i can't tell exactly what should be changed. It have to be done on real site, good thing to sort such issues is firebug for firefox or similar tools - they allow you to change styles of element on the fly and when it's good apply to the file.
