Setting a date for site launch in under construction will make the site live on date.

Just a quick message to all regarding the under construction mode that may not be evident to everyone (it wasnt to me)

If you have set a launch date, the site will automatically become live on that date and anyone can then access without being IP white listed. The field is not simply an estimated launch date.

I was wondering why I had suddenly had full access to my under construction site from a non allowed IP and realised this auto launch is a feature. It took me a little while to realise why my site was live. It is probably mentioned in the manual somewhere that I havent read properly. :)

Hope this helps others who are not yet ready to launch their incomplete site but have missed the date deadline you have set.

Flynax, it might help to put that info in the field description for launch date in the admin page to save embarressment for site owners.

Ie: "Note: Site will automatically be live on DD/MM/YY" etc.
