template on url

Hi

I noticed in your demo websites that you can specify the template you wanted to load by adding it to the end of url like this:

http://realty.demoflynax.com/?template=realty_map

but this feature is not working in my website. could you please guid me how to activate this feature.

I need this feature for testing purpose.

You can customize the url as you want for pages and categories. Check edit of those pages and categories.

I need it to be able to modify the template while the website is working normally without letting users feel any change on the website.

After i finish from modifications i will put the modified temp. as default.

You can install/copy your site to sub-domain or sub-directory and work on it and then move to general.
