Ahead of time? That would be nice.

Hey Steffen whats up, any update for us?
Hi Guys,
it takes a little longer.
I must first replace the fckeditor.
For the following reasons:
- does not support html5 tags
- dismembered tags
- too many br tags are inserted
- not a clean code
the alternative ckeditor does also not support html5.
Tiny MCE editor is for me no alternative so i want to dodge and either aloha editor, or insert another.
Also the same as a tip for the Flynax team to change this very old and not more supported fckeditor in Flynax 5.
In the frontend, it may still go, but in the admin panel under any circumstances.
I have truly hoped for response from Flynax team ... But ...
So it just takes a little longer because it has to be changed many files.
Please give me the time.
Best regards
Steffen
see if any of these http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/design...-next-project/ will fit our requirements.
yes, the standard editor is buggy and a proper replacement is needed.
or this - wich is related to bootstrap http://www.queness.com/post/14200/tw...ch-text-editor
from http://techslides.com/top-20-bootstr...and-resources/
i see as recomandation http://mindmup.github.io/bootstrap-wysiwyg/
https://www.raptor-editor.com/ this one is 50$ per website or 150 / 5 websites
and another html5 editors http://www.htmlgoodies.com/html5/tut...id=V5uKd5WU_s_
Hello Kemoid,
of course the standard editor is buggy... :(
Problems were already often reported here in the forum.
Resonance from the team was zero.
This would have to be changed long ago.
At least in the 4.2 version.
For this the admin panel would have to be changed to bootstrap. ;)Quote:
I have taken quite a picture of the listed editors.
Are all better than the present.
But it is supposed to cost nothing.
The Aloha editor has something magical.
I'm doing some test and will decide in the end.
//Steffen
i assume anyone of the ones who showed interest about this thread will pay 30$ (if we are 5) to have a better replacement if you decide that thisis the case. in any case, you decide what is best
Okay Steffen hope they reply soon and keep us posted if there is anything we can do to help.
OK Guys,
After the test of some wysiwyg editors, i decided for one where i thought it would be no alternative.
TinyMCE 4.0.12.
Why not the other?
Either they cost a "lot" of money, missing features or they are no longer supported.
The only exception would be the aloha editor.
But aloha editor is not quite mature enough at this time.
It lacks functional possibilities for the image upload, and the direct input of source code does not work properly yet.
This editor will replace in my opinion, eventually the tinymce. If he is a little matured.
Sure. Also the tinymce has here and there a few quirks, but on the whole it is compared to all, the best choice.
The code is now validated clean.
If there are problems with some validation, you can also declare exceptions.
The only cost ($9) for tinymce was a modified image uploader.
Ok here some pictures now.

Great work Steffen, btw check the Facebook content of Flynax which they mention version 4.3 including the responsive theme.
//Morgan
Nice job. I am glad you got it to work.
great. one issue less.
Hello Morgan,
Now that we can surprise us sometimes.Quote:
...check the Facebook content of Flynax which they mention version 4.3...
We let surprise us. But i think, that there will not be many innovations.
The question that arises is the following.
For which scripts there will be a responsive template end of January?
Only Auto?
Which SEO optimizations have been made?
Furthermore, it shows once again that the 4.2 was an absolute flop.
In such a short time from 4.2 to 4.3... :O
Because let's wait times.
Best regards
Steffen
Hey Steffen
How is the work coming along
Petrache,
If you are looking to use a different language than English, go to our language download page.
Download your language files
If you wish to join in on translating, go to our Transifex translation page and sign up, then request to join a team or create a new team if your language are not listed.
Installing a language pack
Download one or more languages here.
Unpack files into your tinymce/langs folder
In your tinymce.init({...}) config, set the language option to whatever language you want, example:
language : 'sv_SE',
And you are done, load up TinyMCE and check the new language.

Hey Steffen
Haven't heard from you in a while hope you didn't give up on us. :D
Hallo Kemoid,
Absolutely not.Quote:
Haven't heard from you in a while hope you didn't give up on us.
I'm working hard on this project.
I have to reprogram all the template files to bootstrap and that's pretty expensive.
Also the relevant javascript files or functions must all be sorted out and adapted to bootstrap.js.
I think that i need no longer a developer guide after this project.

looking good with the images
Hi Chris,
Thank you.
There are over 1400 icons in 2 font sets for disposal.
The icons can be defined separately for each menu in the backend.
A great selection.
//Steffen
Looking good. Keep up the good work
yep, looks ok. and we know that is taking a lot considering the fact that we have css codes added directly in the tpl files for main script and addons. your time frame of 1 week was not realistic. we all want this to be done faster but i prefer slower and better
anyway, since there are a huge numebr of changes i hope you prepare in the same time files and instructions regarding the steps we need to make to run it fine.
Hello Petrache,
yeah, you are right. 1 week was not realsitic.
As the saying - Rome wasn't built in a day.
But that was referring to the video.
Flynax is working on a responsive template since oktober 2013.
Without documentation, it is also heavier. Even for me.
But i think that i will not need 4 months. ;)
I am a bit of a perfectionist.
That is why my instructions will also be detailed.
Anyone who has seen instructions here by me, knows this.
Best regards
Steffen
Hello. Can you tell me if you covered already the blocks in flynax? i have in my script my country map displayed in home page in middle left block and since we will have a responsive template i buyed a responsive map. i implement it just to find out that the map is not responsive as in demo. than, i asked why just to realise that the blocks are fixed, becouse they are inside a table. so the map can't resize becouse the table container is not responsive. so, is this done already and is working fine? thanks
Hello Petrache,
I have no map on my home page.
This is either a customization or you have the real estate script.
Do you have a link to this responsive map?Quote:
i buyed a responsive map
Regular map (real estate) would have to be its own map.tpl.
It is not responsive in its current form since you are working with fixed coords.
Anyway, you can recalculate this with jquery when changing the size.
To customize this i would need the image and the map.tpl
That should work without problems.
However, it begs the question - If this map on small screens still make sense?
On tablets it would be ok - but on smartphones?

Steffen

something like
http://jsfiddle.net/YRVev/559/
http://www.tutorialrepublic.com/twit...-accordion.php
http://bootply.com/106526
or just collapsed icons like in Sidebar Closed Page
http://www.keenthemes.com/preview/in...age=index.html
this is a must becouse user must be able to change fast the section, without click on back button or use the breadcumbs
olso, we should have the facebook login as well in this page. one page for login/create account, that's what we need.
Hi Petrache,
You mean the sidebars (left or right) or the same as tab in content?
The Sidebars has regular an extra login and accountmenu part.
Ok you was faster...
I know what you mean.
//Steffen
since i do not use the left sidebar block for account and login, i forgot about those 2. so, it remains the facebook connect wich we must have in same page. olso, since you joined these 2 sections (register/log in), did you made just 1 button in the usernavbar or we still have 2 of those + the facebook login icon?
before you started working on a responsive template, i was working on dropdown menu like in http://www.emag.ro/ - top right corner - "Contul meu" in wich we have the login page + change password + register + social login, all in a single area.
Hello Petrache,
How do I know flynax has the facebook Connect plugin.Quote:
facebook login as well in this page
Myself have not yet used it, but that should be enough or not?
Or are there problems with it?
Regards
Steffen
you can see it in action in http://general.demoflynax.com/
or, you can login as usual with
Username: dealer
Password: demo
and in this case the facebook login is hidden.
many users do have facebook and prefere to login like this, without account creation. the facebook login should show as well ,if you allow adding a ad without account creation, in the process of creating an ad, since flynax didn't bother to add it in that area as well
Hi Petrache,
No action - the APP id and secret is not registered... ;)Quote:
Ok it was false from me. APP id and secret is registered..
But still does not work... :confused
Well that would only be possible if facebook connect directly integrated into the system.
The problem is the following, not everyone allowed add listings without full registration. Not everyone offers free advertise.
Since then it takes more than just a username and password for registration and login.
It needs a complete registration with name, address, phone etc...
It then bites her with facebook connect.
This quickly becomes very complex all.
Since the complete registration logic must be customized and rewritten.
That is not acurate.
If you looked at emag.ro, that is an online shop wich allows this from begining. why? becouse when you buy a product you will fill in anyway a form with the real username and adress and data becouse you get an invoice based on those so it is in your interest to do so. Do not confuse an site account with the personal data that you must fill in at a point.
same thing applies in flynax. you can create a regular account and write that your name is GOD or DEVIL, and that doesn't mean that you can control if the data that a user fills in is acurate (since you do not ask for a id card). as for the payed plans, it doesn't matter since you pay with paypal or other and you must login into your account in wich you have already filled in the real data. so again, these are different
As i said, i do not think much of facebook.
This may be due to the whole "NSA" affair. ;)
But ok i see i must check this out.
Has for me at this time not high priority, but i will see what i can do.
