Location on map/ Account adress issues

this whole process of Location on map/Account address is not ok.

why does this location on map doesn't show when user creates or changes his account? user will fill in county, city street but he can't pinpoint the proper location.

this should work like this.

we have location on map in user account, user move the marker to the proper adress and when he does that the proper fields like city, street etc are automatic filled in, than he saves the data. when he goes to create a listing, he has the option to show the location adress from his account. if he check it, than the proper data is shown in the listing, including the real location

as it is now, we see the Location on map and if user uses it, than the proper fields like County, City are not readed from the map pinpoint so user has to fill in those fields. so where is the help for user? and olso, he has to do this over and over again, for 100-1000 times, depending on how many ads he has.

and another thing. if the user uses the Location on map, than the area Use account address has to be hidden automatic becouse we can select both of them and the location shown in listing details page will be the one from account. this is wrong (a bug)

i think we all expected a improvement in 4.2 but this didn't happen so any solution to this?

select a category than go to Judet / Oras and the moment you select a Judet (county) like Arad or oras (city) like Curtici, the map in right automatic jumps to show that location
and further, if you fill in a street it will jump to that as well

and in the end, the contact data or the map data that you fill in just 1 time, the moment you make your 1-st listing will be saved and will auto populate all further ads that you will create becouse the script remembers and serve that data just fine.

another issue regarding location

when we create a listing or create an account, we have same fields - City, Address. Why they are not the same fields?

the problem that apears right now is that you fill in your account location data and when you create an ad, you select "Address on map" wich takes the location data specified into account and olso hides the City/Adress fields in create listing and in the end we end up with an ad wich has no City or Adress visible in listing details page. Those will show only if you do not use "Address on map" and you select individual the fields City, Address

how can we fix this?

We are having the same problem here I even asked about it in a ticket long ago. This poses a problem because the city field is used in the search form and users get no result because it is always blank.

I have the same problem. When a user activate "Account address on the maps" to YES, then when try to search by city, there aren't show the results with this city, even if the user has filled the city at the registration. The field "city" is empty when "Account address on the maps" is activated Attachment 1574

create ticket and flynax will charge you for modification

I think it's a bug. It has nothing to do with modification if a user type the city in the field "city" this should be registered and and if someone search by cities, the script must be capable to read the field "city".
